Clerk - Arrhythmia Monitoring Centre Job Opening in Ottawa, ON - University of Ottawa Heart Institute Recruitment 2017Employment Status:
Part Time (30 hrs/wk). One (1) year contract.
To support the day to day operations of the Arrhythmia Monitoring Centre (AMC), including: booking appointments, maintaining databases, creating patient charts, processing analysis reports, liaising with referring offices, handling mail, and other general office and reception duties.
While our employees work in offices within the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, they are employed by Associates in Cardiology.
High school diploma along with demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position
Minimum 1 year of recent related administrative experience or customer service experience
Solid keyboarding/data entry skills
Sound knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office and electronic mail
Spoken and written English and French fluency
Excellent interpersonal and oral communications skills
Able to work independently with a high degree of organization and attention to detail
Able to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
Highly reliable and punctual
Knowledge and experience with hospital processes and policies
Familiarity with HealthScreen, SMS, and EMR software
Some medical terminology
