Your role
INDIGENOUS JOURNALISM INTERNSHIP
Under a program run in conjunction with the First Nations Education Council (FNEC), Radio-Canada is seeking Indigenous member interested in doing a one-year journalism internship at its regional station in Sept-Îles. The intern will be paid according to pay scales in effect at Radio-Canada.
The intern will join our production teams, performing the duties of researcher, writer, columnist, reporter, videojournalist, etc.
Qualifications
Applicant must meet the following criteria:
  • Registered Indigenous member
  • Familiar with Indigenous community
  • Motivated
  • Able to do research
  • Willing to learn
  • Proficient in written French
  • Available for a full year
  • Applicants will be selected by Radio-Canada and FNEC representatives

  • An audio/video demo up to two (2) minutes long, in which you introduce yourself and tell us what you hope to accomplish if you are chosen for this internship. Please send us your demo in electronic format or via URL (to YouTube or another website)
