Your role
INDIGENOUS JOURNALISM INTERNSHIP
Under a program run in conjunction with the First Nations Education Council (FNEC), Radio-Canada is seeking Indigenous member interested in doing a one-year journalism internship at its regional station in Sept-Îles. The intern will be paid according to pay scales in effect at Radio-Canada.
The intern will join our production teams, performing the duties of researcher, writer, columnist, reporter, videojournalist, etc.
Qualifications
Applicant must meet the following criteria:
  • Registered Indigenous member
  • Familiar with Indigenous community
  • Motivated
  • Able to do research
  • Willing to learn
  • Proficient in written French
  • Available for a full year
  • Applicants will be selected by Radio-Canada and FNEC representatives
