The position of Accounting Clerk, Accounts Receivable is responsible for collecting and processing the Business Revenues from Brokers and Insurance Providers.
With over 500 Broker Clients this position is critical to the efficient continuation of business income.
General duties of the Accounts Receivable Administrator are: generating and matching invoices; processing payments and preparing bank deposits; bank and credit reconciliations; responding to client inquiries; following up on failed transactions; recording cheques and transactions; placing collections calls; updating and resolving outstanding amounts; filing; preparing reports; as well as ad hoc duties which may be assigned as needed.
In addition, the candidate will also manage the Broker portal database that houses broker agreements and E&O and Fidelity bond certificates. As part of the Regulatory requirement, these would need to be current at all times.
You will have an accounting background and be at an expert level in Excel. You have experience in dealing with Broker clients preferably in the Properly and Casualty Insurance field.
This is a full time position and we are located in the West Mall, Hwy 427 area.
